Roberto Vacca has earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from Rome University. He has taught Electronic Computers at Rome University, Systems Engineering at Milan Polytechnic, Total Quality Management in Perugia and Cagliari. He is a Life member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and a Former Member of the Club of Rome (resigned in 1981). He designed power networks and hydraulic speed gears. He researches in computer logic. He worked as a General and technical manager of a company active in design and construction of computerized control systems. From 1975, he has been a consultant in technological forecasting, systems engineering (transportation, communications, energy). He has made many TV programs for popularizing science and technology. He has published many technical and scientific articles and contributes weekly articles and columns to many newspapers and magazines.
