Architect and designer, Marion Voillot is currently working at the Motion Lab of the CRI (Center of Research and Interdisciplarity) in Paris as a pedagogical designer. Sharing a cross-disciplinary vision of architecture and design, she is creating pedagogical scenarios for kindergartens, by developing alternative methods, digital tools and learning environments. These scenarios are intended to place gestures and senses at the heart of the learning process in the digital era. She is just starting a PhD between CRI, IRCAM (Institute for Research and Coordination in Acoustics/Music) and ENSCI-Les Ateliers (French National Institute for Advanced Studies in Industrial Design) in the following subject: The Body at the Heart of Learning leveraging Digital Technology: Exploring a New Paradigm for Early Childhood Education.
