Biondi, Anna

Ms. Anna Biondi is the Deputy Director of the Bureau for Workers’ Activities in the International Labour Office. She is also the Fellow of the World Academy of Art & Science. She assists the Director of the Bureau in identifying the requirements necessary to develop, implement and evaluate the wide range of activities of the organization related to workers’ activities. She promotes the application of relevant policies and international labor standards and the provision of prompt technical assistance. She encourages workers’ participation in the preparation and implementation of technical programs undertaken by the office. Ms. Biondi also served as the Director of the International Trade Union Confederation of ILO.
