Mladen Staničić is the Professor Emeritus of Institute for International Relations, Zagreb; a part-time Professor at the Faculty of Political Science, Zagreb, Professor at the University College of International Relations and Diplomacy (Dag Hamarskjoeld College), Zagreb and a Fellow of World Academy of Art and Science. He is a Former Member of the Coordinating Council for Development Strategy of the Republic of Croatia and a Member of the Advisory Council for International Relations in the Croatian President’s Office. He is the Coordinator of various research projects on macroeconomic stabilization in countries in transition and Croatia's international economic relations, economic aspects of security, particularly security in South-Eastern Europe.
